CLINIC-WIDE TREATMENT POLICIES

Tax Policy

Laser Hair Removal

1. Antibiotic Use (Strict Policy)

  • Laser Hair Removal treatments are strictly prohibited if you have used antibiotics within 14 days prior to treatment.
  • The final dose of any antibiotic must be taken at least 14 days before your scheduled appointment.
  • It is the client’s sole responsibility to track medication use and reschedule appointments accordingly.
  • Skinfinity Rx Medspa is not responsible for verifying or reminding clients about antibiotic use.
  • If you arrive for treatment or cancel/reschedule within 24 hours due to antibiotic use, a $50 fee per scheduled session will apply.

2. Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Laser Hair Removal is not performed during pregnancy.
  • Clients must inform the clinic immediately if pregnancy occurs during a treatment series.
  • Remaining sessions will be placed on hold until pregnancy and lactation have ended.
  • Discounted or promotional laser packages are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Sessions may only be resumed after clearance post-pregnancy and lactation.

3. Shaving Requirement

  • All treatment areas must be clean-shaven prior to arrival.
  • Only shaved areas will be treated.
  • If you arrive unshaven:
  • A $50 shaving fee per body area will apply if shaving is requested.
  • Partially shaved or unshaven areas may require rescheduling or may be forfeited from the package.
  • Treatment is considered completed once performed on shaved areas.

4. Lifetime Maintenance Warranty

  • Hair reduction results vary by individual.
  • Clients who purchase a laser package qualify for our Lifetime Maintenance Warranty.
  • Additional treatments for the same body area (after package completion) are available at 50% off the regular single-session price.

5. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a $50 fee per session.
  • Appointments booked within 24 hours cannot be changed or cancelled.
  • Credit card details are required to secure appointments.
  • If the clinic must reschedule your appointment, a $50 credit will be applied.

6. Late Arrivals

  • Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in the appointment being considered a no-show.
  • If time allows, partial treatment may be performed.
  • Any portion requiring rescheduling will incur a $50 fee per treatment area.
  • Fees must be settled before future bookings.

7. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Full payment is required prior to treatment.
  • All sales are final.
  • Promotional and discounted packages are non-refundable.
  • Exchanges are permitted within 6 months of purchase at regular service value, less services already rendered.
  • No exchanges after 6 months, except in cases of pregnancy or medical illness.
  • Refund values (if exceptionally approved) are calculated at regular session pricing, at the clinic’s discretion.
  • All decisions regarding refunds or exchanges are final.

8. Non-Transferable Packages

  • Treatment packages are non-transferable, whether partially or fully used.
  • This policy ensures safe, personalized, and consistent care for each client.

9. Courtesy Appointment Reminders

  • The clinic may send phone, text, or email reminders.
  • Appointments are considered confirmed once booked.
  • Clients are responsible for maintaining current contact information and opting into reminders.

10. Children Policy

  • Children under 13 are not permitted in laser treatment rooms.
  • Children aged 13–18 must remain in the reception area.
  • No child under 13 may be left unattended.
  • If a client arrives with young children, the appointment must be rescheduled and a $50 fee per session applies.

11. Promotions & Pricing

  • All pricing, promotions, and packages are subject to change without notice.
  • Pricing at the time of purchase will prevail.
  • Promotions cannot be retroactively applied.
  • All clinic policies apply to regular, sale, and promotional purchases.
  • No exceptions will be made.

12. Package Validity

  • Discounted packages must typically be completed within 1 year of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
  • Clients are responsible for booking sessions within the validity period to ensure optimal results.

13. Refusal or Early Termination of Treatment

  • If a client refuses or ends a session mid-treatment without valid medical reason, the session is considered completed and fully charged.
  • No refunds will apply.
  • The clinic is not responsible for treatment outcomes in such cases.
  • If a client cancels after entering the treatment room but before treatment begins, a $50 cancellation fee applies.

14. Technicians & Providers

  • Treatments may be performed by Skincare Specialist Umbreen Shaikh or trained associates/medical aesthetic technicians.
  • Different technicians may perform different sessions.

15. Right to Refuse Service

  • Skinfinity Rx Medspa reserves the right to refuse service or modify policies at any time.
  • Terms and conditions may change without prior notice.

Clinic-Wide Treatment Policies

(Applies to Laser, Aesthetic & Injectable Procedures)

All policies outlined for Laser Hair Removal at Skinfinity Rx Medspa apply equally to all aesthetic treatments and injectable procedures, including but not limited to:

  • Injectables (Botox, dermal fillers, PRF/PRP)
  • Laser and energy-based treatments
  • Microneedling and RF microneedling
  • Medical facials and advanced skin treatments
  • Body contouring and wellness services

Consultation Charges Policy

  • All consultations are subject to a $25 consultation fee.
  • Consultation fees are non-refundable.
  • The $25 consultation fee may be applied toward treatment if a service is booked the same day or within a specified timeframe.
  • Missed or late consultations are subject to our cancellation and no-show policy.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

Treatment Room Policy

  • No phone usage is permitted in the treatment room or during any procedure.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the treatment room at any time.
  • These policies are in place to maintain safety, hygiene, and treatment accuracy.
  • Failure to comply may result in treatment interruption or rescheduling, and applicable fees may apply.

General Policy Application

  • Appointment cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, and rescheduling fees apply to all services.
  • Consultation fees, treatment fees, and deposits are non-refundable.
  • Discounted or promotional packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All treatments require full payment prior to service.
  • Once a treatment session has begun or is completed, it is non-refundable.
  • Failure to follow pre-treatment or post-treatment instructions may result in treatment refusal or rescheduling, with applicable fees.
  • If a session is terminated or refused by the client without valid medical reason, it will be considered completed and fully charged.
  • Late arrival may result in partial treatment or forfeiture of the session.

Medical Suitability & Safety

  • Treatment eligibility is determined by the provider’s clinical judgment.
  • The clinic reserves the right to refuse or defer treatment if it is not medically appropriate or safe.
  • Clients are responsible for disclosing all medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, and recent procedures.
  • Injectables and medical aesthetic treatments are results-based but not guaranteed.

Pricing, Promotions & Packages

  • Pricing and promotions are subject to change without notice.
  • Pricing at the time of purchase will prevail.
  • Promotions cannot be retroactively applied.
  • Package validity periods apply and must be used within the stated timeframe.

Right to Refuse Service

Skinfinity Rx Medspa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons deemed appropriate by management and medical providers. Policies may be modified at any time without notice.

Tax Policy

HST (13%) applies to all services, treatments, packages, memberships, consultations, and retail purchases.

  • Tax is charged on all forms of payment, including cash, debit, credit card, and e-transfer.
  • No services or products are exempt from HST unless required by law.
  • Prices displayed or quoted do not include HST unless otherwise stated.
  • Skinfinity Rx Medspa complies with all Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax regulations.

Acknowledgement

By booking and receiving any service at Skinfinity Rx Medspa, clients acknowledge and agree that all clinic policies apply to all treatments, including laser, aesthetic, and injectable procedures.
